Duc in Altum (“Put out into the deep”) is a Catholic discernment program for young adults seeking to explore their faith, discover their purpose, and grow in community.
Led by the Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco, this journey is for those who want to open their hearts to God’s call — whether that means religious life, married life, or a deeper commitment to serving others.
Duc In Altum (DIA) - Program Info
Duc in Altum (“Put out into the deep”) was born from the voices of young adults themselves. At the 3rd Continental Congress on Vocations (Montreal, 2002), young people expressed a deep desire for:
- Meaningful mentorship
- Space for spiritual reflection
- Guidance to become bold leaders rooted in faith
The program exists to help you explore the deeper questions that stir in your heart and to seek God's direction amid the many voices and choices of life.
At its core, Duc in Altum isn’t about giving you all the answers. It’s about helping you grow the freedom to ask the right questions, the courage to search for truth, and the faith to follow wherever God leads.
Here, you’ll find space to breathe, reflect, and live your faith more fully — with the support of mentors, community, and the Salesian Sisters who walk with you on the journey.
